The courtyard cafe at fabindia

One rainy evening after a long day at work me and my friend just entered the fabindia store at kormangala, as we are interior designers the place was of great interest to us as it has been designed by a world famous architect called Charles correa, and when I say world famous I mean he has been a great inspiration to all the architects & designers and every one would love to be in the place I was rite then, at the beautiful courtyard of Charles correa’s house,

Well getting back to business … the courtyard of the house has been converted in a café; the ideation is great of combining a café and a shopping place.

Sitting in the courtyard is a great experience as the whole courtyard has kund seating (multilevel seating) it’s open to the sky and has a lot of green all around, the ambiance is just spectacular

It’s perfect for someone to just grab a cup of coffee, have a bite and turn some pages

The service there isn’t that great, would rather say as this place is not very commercial and a revenue generating area they haven’t concentrated on the management, but I would request you to be very specific while ordering your meal as the steward there is very confused and not well aware of the dishes they serve.

The food there is out, straight from your mom’s kitchen very healthy and very homely, and is priced moderately.

I would suggest this place a must visit just for the experience, ambiance and nothing else.
